

Charlie Glavin, a Chartered Financial Analyst and CFO of Phoenix Biomass Energy, has more than 23 years of experience in the investment and technology industries focused primarily on the semiconductor, renewable energy, and wireless markets. Previous to Phoenix, Charlie was a Managing Director at MP2 Capital, focused on developing, small utility scale solar projects. He has also been an EIR for New Enterprise Associates and CSO for Shanghai-based Spreadtrum Communications.
For 12 years, Charlie was an award winning, senior global semiconductor analyst for Credit Suisse, Needham, and ThinkEquity Partners. Charlie also worked as a Business Analyst/Senior Engineer at Intel Corporation and began his career as a trader and research associate for Fidelity in Boston. Charlie is also an independent director for Mirics Semiconductor, Dust Networks and Convergence Wireless, plus an active member of the Rochester Area Community Foundation.
A Rochester native and proud graduate of McQuaid Jesuit High School, Charlie received a BA in Economics from Bucknell University, and an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
